Better Public Speaking: Microphones

Quick Tip for Testing a Microphone:

Test to see if a microphone is turned on by tapping it gently with your finger, not by blowing into it. Keep four to six inches away and talk directly into the microphone. Most microphones will not pick up a voice spoken under, over, or to either side.

May your fame always come from stardom and never from infamy – unless you do so by choice!
